"Empath And The Golden Magic Bird" is a Smurfs fanfiction story that is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. It is loosely based on the Smurfs comic book story "The Smurfs And The Magic Bird".

About The Story[]

From Vic George: I wanted to create a Thanksgiving-themed Smurf story for my series, so I invented the holiday tradition of the Harvest Feast for the Smurfs. It was originally intended to be a complete original story, but I ended up having "The Smurfs And The Magic Bird" on my mind, so I adapted that into a holiday-themed story. Some preliminary work was done about a year or so ago, but much of the story was done over the course of a few days, starting from November 22, 2018 (which was Thanksgiving Day in America).

Plot Summary[]

During the celebration of the Harvest Feast, the Smurfs discover a golden magic bird that can grant wishes. However, Lord Balthazar is also seeking after the bird, and the Smurfs must protect the bird from what the evil sorcerer wants to do with it.
