"It's not how long a person lives, but rather how that person lives in the years that he has."

Homnibus is a human character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

History[]

He is a wizard whom the Smurfs have encountered since five years before Empath's final return from Psychelia, though Papa Smurf claims to have known him since he was a young student. He often gives assistance to the Smurfs as well as to Sir Johan and Peewit, whom he has first sent to the Smurfs in order to get another magic flute to retrieve the one that was stolen by Matthew McCreep. He has raised a young boy named Justin and has a teenage servant named Oliver. Homnibus offers wise counsel to Empath whenever the young Smurf is sent to run errands for the enchanter around the time of his birthday (which is usually to give the Smurfs time to prepare a birthday surprise for Empath), letting him know that it isn't how long a person has lived that matters, but how that person lives in that time and what he has learned along the way. At the present point in the EMPATH story series, Homnibus is about 70 to 80 years old.

Voice Actor[]

His desired voice actor would be Peter Renaday, who was the voice of Duncan the Grey Warden from the Dragon Age: Origins video game and Splinter from the 1980s-1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon show. Another possible candidate would be Michael Gambon, who played Albus Dumbledore in six films of the Harry Potter series.
