King Smurf's castle was a structure built by the Smurfs during the time when Brainy Smurf was in the role of King Smurf in the story of the same name.

Mainstream Smurfs Media

The castle was built within a few days in the original comic book story using the labor of King Smurf's subjects, though it surprisingly took much less time in the cartoon show adaptation. It was destroyed upon Papa Smurf's return when the Smurfs rushed to the dam to release the waters that were building up behind it, which they failed to monitor during the time they had to deal with Brainy being King Smurf. In the original comic book story, the castle was destroyed by a bomb that came from Papa Smurf's laboratory

The castle had three prominent rooms that were displayed in mainstream media: the throne room, the king's bedroom, and the prison.

Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories

In "Virtual Smurfality," Brainy recreated the same castle in his Imaginarium fantasy setting with a copy of Smurfette being his private servant girl -- an element of his fantasy that the real Smurfette noticed with some disgust.

In Sophia Smurfette's fictional story "The Once And Smurfy King", Anonymous as Lord Smurf the First shared his bedroom in the castle with Smurfette, but the two ended up sleeping in separate beds since at the time neither of them were married to each other.

Hero: The Guardian Smurf stories

King Smurf's castle in the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series was constructed and destroyed during Hero and Wonder's honeymoon when Brainy claimed himself as King Smurf in the story "King of the Smurfs".

Within The Light and Dark Series, which crosses over with the Expanded Animated Universe, this location makes at least one return from mainstream media in reference to the cartoon episode. More to come later!
