Martinet is a Smurf character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. He is the custodian who guards the main entrance to the castle of the Wizard Of Odds, controlling who gets to see the Wizard. In the story, he initially denies the Smurflings access to see the Wizard, but after being tickle tortured, he relented and gave them access. His behavior and mannerisms are identical to that of Brainy Smurf from the Smurf Village.
