"They say curiosity smurfed the cat. It's a good thing it hasn't smurfed me yet."

Nolan "Nosey" Smurf is a Smurf character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

Personality[]

He is a Smurf who is curious about everything and tends to stick his nose in places where he shouldn't go, causing problems for everyone. He works as a gossip columnist for the Smurf Village newspaper, writing up stories about things based on random events that he was an eyewitness to. His most prominent appearance is in the story "The Lost City Of Yore".

Nosey is one of the few Smurfs in the village who loves smoking and can be seen occasionally carrying a cigarette or a smoking pipe. If he has neither on hand, he will just chew on a piece of grass. He is one of the proponents for the legal consumption of smurfnip, which eventually came to pass when a strain of smurfnip that didn't produce any hallucinogenic effects was developed. At that time, he and Chatty partnered together to open The Wake N Bake Brew Shop as an alternative to Tapper's Tavern for those who want to enjoy smurfnip with their morning cup of acorn brew.

Role[]

He mostly serves in the role of a gag character, appearing alongside his friend Chatty Smurf whenever there's something of particular interest that another Smurf is trying to keep secret. He also acts as a stereotypical stoner.

Desired Voice Actor[]

His desired voice actor would be Seth Rogen.

Notes[]

  • Gargamel posed as a Smurf going by this name in the story "The Mr. Smurf Contest" where he along with a dozen other Smurfs were contestants in a beauty pageant so that Smurfette could decide which one she would let take her to the Harvest Moon Ball. However, near the end of the pageant where Smurfette ultimately declared all the contestants as the winners, Gargamel transformed back into his true form, but he was still the size of a Smurf and thus was easily thrown out of the village.
