Pitufo is one of the "lost" languages of the Smurfs in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. It is equivalent to the human language of Spanish, following the same language rules of grammar. At the present time of the story series, Pitufo is hardly used by any Smurf except for Empath, who has mastered all the lost languages of the Smurfs, and Zipper, who tends to mix Pitufo into his very fast talking. Spinner Smurf, though a descendant of the Pitufo clan, knows only a few words that he can speak in Pitufo and usually makes up his own words such as "pitufojuano" for smurfnip.
NOTE: Pitufo is the actual Spanish name for Smurf.
