A Psychelisphere is a form of puzzle that the Psyches engage in mostly for meditational purposes in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. It consists of a floating orb with blocks containing various symbols and colors. As described by Polaris Psyche on how it is played:
- "The object is to find all the matching pieces on each layer of the Psychelisphere and match them up to remove them. The trick is to sort out all the different colors and symbols by switching them around until they join with each other. There are a total of 999 layers within a Psychelisphere puzzle, and when all the pieces of a single layer have been removed, the next layer underneath is revealed and the puzzle becomes slightly more challenging."
The orb is usually generated by telepaths such as the Psyches and Empath Smurf. It is uncertain how non-telepaths are able to play the game without the presence of a telepath, though it is most likely with an Imaginarium crystal.
So far the only people in the Smurf Village who are able to play the Psychelisphere with any skill are Empath and Polaris.
