Teleportation is the ability to travel between two different locations instantaneously. This tends to be used a good deal in science fiction and fantasy, where characters are able to use magic or technology to initiate teleportation, such as transporters from the Star Trek franchise.

In the mainstream Smurfs media, teleportation tends to be used mostly by sorcerers and magical beings such as the nameless imp from "Smurfette's Dancing Shoes".
Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories[]
Avarice, being the same imp from "Smurfette's Dancing Shoes", used teleportation to harass the Smurfs while he was going after Flowerbell in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story "Flowerbell's Love Triangle." Avengelica the female wraith uses teleportation to travel places in "Little Sister Smurf Lost."
Hero: The Guardian Smurf stories[]
In the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series, Hero and Wonder are able to use a teleportation technique known as Instant Transmission. In "The Cat Smurfette", Gargamel creates a teleporter machine with which he tested it out on his apprentice Scruple by transporting him deep into the Smurf Forest, though accidentally as close to the Smurf Village as possible.
