"Titanic" is a story that is part of the Smurf Me Up series.
The Plot[]
The Smurfs witness the rise of a sunken ship in King Audric's kingdom known as the Titan. The good king orders the be searched for anything historical. Smurfette appears as the only one in her group of Smurfs who is interested in the ship. She tries to talk to her fellow Smurfs about it, but is turned away in place of food. Smurfette ends up falling asleep on the chair inside the Imaginarium room and dreams what it would've been like to have been in the Titan ship.

Trivia[]
- This story was originally written as a play, but the idea was later scrapped and changed into a dream.
- The ship's name Titan, comes from the book Futility, which featured a ship similar to the Titanic in which both were claimed to be "unsinkable", and both hit an iceberg.
- Futility was written in 1898 by Morgan Robertson. The real Titanic ship sunk 14 years later in 1912.
- Glovey Smurf appears in Smurfette's dream along with a few other characters, yet he wasn't there to witness the Titan rising or even in Homnibus' home.
- Although the title of the story is Titanic and is based on the 1997 film, the name is never mentioned in the story.
