Woody and Laconia's wedding was an event hosted by the Smurfs for the woodelves Woody and Laconia in the cartoon show special "Smurfily Ever After."

Papa Smurf was chosen to be the presiding minister who would unite the couple, Smurfette was the maid of honor, and Brainy was the best man. The event was originally held in Bluebell Dell and given a lavish presentation despite Woody's desire for the wedding ceremony to be simple and small. However, the event was crashed by Gargamel, who showed up at the location with his Ghoulliope to capture the Smurfs and send them to their doom. Laconia rescued Smurfette from the machine's entrancing music and the two of them worked together to free the other Smurfs from the music and to send Gargamel and Azrael flying into the wizard's muck pond. Although Smurfette saw and felt that the event was ruined by Gargamel's interference, it didn't stop Woody and Laconia's desire to be together, and thus the ceremony was moved back to the Smurf Village where the Smurfs and assembled guests watched the two woodelves make their vows and kiss each other.

Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories[]
The wedding took place about two years before Empath Smurf returned home for good, as mentioned in "A Wedding To Remember" in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. Smurfette and the Pussywillow Pixies held a bridal shower for Laconia, while Duncan McSmurf and the other male Smurfs held a bachelor party for Woody at the dining hall. The night before the wedding, Acorn had a disturbing dream that the wedding would be interrupted by haunting music that hypnotized all the Smurfs and their guests -- a dream that was prophetic in that Gargamel would fulfill it with his Ghoulliope.
